Find out more about the Sigineer Power TSW Transformer Based Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger Transfer Switch

Transformer based inverter has been around for over decades, it is also called Conventional inverter in comparison to the transformerless inverters. And if we talk about TSW inverter, then let me tell you that it is short for True Sine Wave Inverter only, which is the same thing as pure sine wave (PSW) inverter. In recent years, a new technology of transfer switch is introduced in inverter chargers. So we thought about adding this facility in our inverters as well. Normally a Pure sine wave inverter charger transfer switch is a combination of 3 products: pure sine power inverter with smart battery chargers and automatic transfer switch. This Automatic Transfer Switch also known as ATS is usually used at the places where the backup generator is used as this switch automatically provide electrical power when the main source fails.

Sigineer Power TSW Transformer Inverter have many advantages over transformerless inverter such as it offers:
  • High surge output capability.
  • Reliability in handling inductive loads with motors such as pumps, compressor, fridge, air conditioner.
  • The output waveform or power quality of this TSW inverter is as good as or even better than the power supply you get from the utility grid.
  • Easy to install in the places.
Since we have discussed few advantages let’s talk about some disadvantages of Transformer Inverter over transformerless inverter:
  • Bulk size, heavy weight and high cost due to the big transformer
  • Lower DC to AC efficiency
  • High Idle consumption
  • Higher THD (total harmonic distortion)
  • Generate more heat and ˜hum’ noise
Our duty is to inform you about the specifications of the product. We can only suggest or provide information decision needs to be yours. We have defined the pros as well as cons of the products now you have to choose as per your priorities.
