So in my locality or you can say
around 5-6 houses down the lane, a house was on fire. Thanks to God that none of
the family members was home at that time
else they also would have caught in it. The family came back next day and saw
the ruins. The lady of the house was crying as well as smiling. When I asked her about why she is smiling? She
answered that they were planning to leave kids at home and now they are feeling
better that they didn’t, else she didn't
know what would have happened. The fire brigade as well as the professional
team drop by in the morning during our conversation and after researching the
whole area they found out that the ultimate power inverter was the reason for a fire in the house.
By listening to this I asked the
officer on the lady’s behalf that what could have gone wrong as the whole
locality use on or the other type of power inverter. Their speculation says that
none of us is safe in our homes. At this
point the officer spoke few points that could have initiated the fire such as type
of cable used as connectors, the type of inverter used at the house, the wiring
system in the house, how the inverter is installed and what accessories are used
in installation of the same, distance between the inverter and the battery, ventilation system of the
house, etc.
He said these were the key points in
regards to the ultimate power inverter catching fire, there can be much more.
Well, his statement made me realised that
people are not aware of the consequences of wrong installation or fitting of
the inverters at home. So I asked the offers that can we do a guiding camp in
the locality where he can guide the residents about the flaws in our ways of
handling our inverter. he said, “why not” and we planned the camp and later
this week we are to organise one in our
locality so that people know what they are doing and can prevent the mishappening
like this one.
